Orange Money has officially presented prizes to winners of its nationwide ‘Soba Kaiba’ promotion, marking a celebratory moment for customers while reinforcing confidence in the mobile money platform.
At a public handing over ceremony, winners received prizes ranging from motorbikes and tricycles to solar systems, highlighting the impact of Soba Kaiba on everyday lives and financial inclusion.
Among the top prize recipients was Mohammed Bah, who won a tricycle, locally called keh-keh. He said he initially doubted the authenticity of the winning call, fearing it might be a scam. His concerns were eased after official confirmation and the public presentation of the prize. Mr Bah praised Orange Money for its transparency and urged customers to continue using the service, noting that “anyone can win.”
Another winner, Isatu Bangura, received a TVS motorbike. She described her initial disbelief before expressing gratitude to God, the National Electoral Commission, and Orange Money for what she called a fair and transparent promotion.
Additional winners included Cephas Dabi and Yayah Kabba, who also received TVS motorbikes, while Sabrina Bangura, Esther Lahai and Zainab Kamara were awarded solar power systems.
Orange Money said the Soba Kaiba promotion reflects its commitment to rewarding customer loyalty and expanding access to digital financial services. The company encouraged customers to continue transacting on the platform, saying future winners could come from any community.
