QNET, a global wellness and lifestyle direct selling company, has reaffirmed its commitment to tackling fraudulent activities falsely carried out in its name in Sierra Leone.
The company unveiled its comprehensive 2026 strategy during a New Year Media Webinar attended by about 25 Sierra Leonean journalists. The strategy is aimed at restoring its corporate image, protecting vulnerable consumers from scams, and promoting legitimate entrepreneurship and sustainable economic growth across West Africa.
A key highlight of QNET’s 2026 roadmap is the much-anticipated V-Africa 2026 regional convention. Following the success of V-Africa 2025 in Accra, which attracted nearly 5,000 participants, the company plans to host an even larger event mid-year in Accra, Ghana.
The convention will feature intensive training sessions, practical workshops, and exhibitions of QNET’s premium wellness and lifestyle products. It is expected to provide participants with insights into business development, financial literacy, and sustainable entrepreneurship. A strong delegation from Sierra Leone is anticipated to attend.
Beyond capacity building, the event is projected to contribute significantly to Ghana’s hospitality, transport, and tourism sectors, as it draws participants from across West Africa.
QNET acknowledged the ongoing misuse of its brand by fraudsters and pledged to intensify its collaboration with law enforcement agencies in Sierra Leone and the wider region to combat scams and misinformation.
Lawyer Kwasi Danso, Regional Legal Counsel for QNET in Sub-Saharan Africa, reiterated the company’s position.
“Our primary focus remains on combating misinformation and misuse of our brand name, protecting vulnerable consumers, and creating genuine opportunities that lead to long-term prosperity and personal growth through ethical commitment. QNET is unequivocally opposed to all forms of fraudulent behavior,” he said.
He further clarified that QNET does not promote illegal migration, fake overseas job offers, false representation, or visa-related scams, urging the public to verify information through the company’s official website.
Building on what it described as a successful 2025 marked by product portfolio expansion and growing market presence across Sub-Saharan Africa, QNET said it will strengthen its anti-scam campaigns and consumer education initiatives, particularly in Sierra Leone.
The company also pledged continued support for ethical entrepreneurs through its direct selling model, while working to clearly distinguish its operations from fraudulent actors misusing its name.
