Hollywood star Idris Elba will join British and Sierra Leonean artists for a special concert in London on Nov. 15. This event promises to be a landmark celebration of Sierra Leonean music, featuring a lineup of talented performers and culminating in a headline set by the breakout star of Freetown’s music scene, Drizilik.
Drizilik has taken the music world by storm with his unique sound, Kriofusion, a blend of gumbay, afrobeats, and hip-hop infused with Krio cultural influences. This concert marks a reunion for Drizilik and Elba, who have previously collaborated on two hit songs, “Ashobi” and “Vote.”
The concert will be held at the Clapham Grand, a renowned London venue, and is sure to be a sell-out event. Tickets are available now, and with Idris Elba’s star power and Drizilik’s electrifying music, this promises to be a night to remember for fans of Sierra Leonean music and beyond.
