In a heartfelt message to members, supporters, and well-wishers of the DIB Movement, Dr. Ibrahim Bangura has expressed deep gratitude for the unwavering dedication fueling his political vision, urging the All Peoples Congress (APC) to stand united as the party prepares for an “unshakable victory” in 2028.
Dr. Bangura, widely regarded as one of the APC’s most promising leaders, underscored that the movement he leads belongs to the people, “built by the hands, voices, and hopes of countless Sierra Leoneans who believe in a better future.” He reiterated that his mission is to strengthen the APC institutionally, nurture its unity, and position it to lead the nation with “vision and compassion.”
Acknowledging the competitive nature of politics, Dr. Bangura called for civility and mutual respect within the party. “The APC is a family,” he said. “Families may debate and differ, but they are bound by love and mutual respect. Political competition must never be poisoned by bitterness.”
His message went beyond party lines, painting a vision of a Sierra Leone where every ethnic group has a voice, no citizen feels invisible, and hate finds no home. “In our Sierra Leone, division will find no refuge. We will strengthen democracy, uphold the rule of law, and protect the rights of every citizen,” he declared.
Dr. Bangura praised supporters at home and abroad for standing firm in the face of challenges, walking in the rain, spreading the movement’s message, and defending its vision. He urged them to continue engaging with kindness, discipline, and courage, reminding them that the values demonstrated within the APC will ultimately shape the values offered to the nation.
“Let us show Sierra Leone and the world that the APC is ready to lead, not just as a political force, but as a unifying force,” Dr. Bangura said. “Together, we will win. And together, we will build the Sierra Leone we all deserve.”
As the rains continue across the country, Dr. Bangura ended with a personal note: “Please stay safe. From my heart to yours, thank you for your sacrifice, your energy, and your love for Sierra Leone.”
