In a landmark moment for Africa’s gaming scene, betPawa has announced a historic USD 1.1 million payout, which Spribe, the aviator’s creator, described as the largest group win ever recorded on aviator in Africa and one that sets a new benchmark in the region’s iGaming industry.

The milestone was celebrated this week in Accra, Ghana, where betPawa hosted a high-profile event to honor the continent’s latest aviator high-flyers emerging from a single round of the popular crash game.

“Our analytics confirm that this is the largest group win in a single round to date in Africa,” Spribe said in a statement.

Among the winners was Clovis from Cameroon, who turned micro-bets of 150 FCFA (USD 0.26) and 100 FCFA (USD 0.17) into a combined 150 million FCFA (USD 270,000), one of the highest multiplier payouts ever seen on the platform, with 500,000x and 750,000x returns.

Other standout winners include Prince from Ghana, who won GH¢2 million (USD 193,079) from a GH¢6.50 bet, Sidney from Zambia, who pocketedK3.25 million (USD 136,110) from a modest K6 bet, and Jules, Godi, Hyacinte, Carlos, and Mathieu from Cameroon, who together collected hundreds of millions of FCFA from bets as low as 100 FCFA.

The celebration wasn’t just about the winnings. betPawa treated its aviator champions to luxury accommodations, chauffeured rides, custom-made gifts, business-class travel, and even a private jet tour over Ghana, reinforcing the brand’s commitment to rewarding and recognizing success in style.

Borah Ndanyungu, head of local marketing and CSR at betPawa, said this isn’t just about winning big but about turning a moment of luck into a lifetime of possibility.

“We’ve designed a platform with the lowest minimum stakes and the highest max win of $250,000 on Aviator in Africa and that’s not changing,” said Ndanyungu.

The initiative, backed by the Gaming Commission of Ghana, will connect winners with financial advisors and provide tools for future planning and responsible gaming.

Since its launch, betPawa has expanded across 17 African countries, earning a reputation for offering the lowest minimum stakes and highest max wins, and ensuring guaranteed and instant payouts. Back then in 2023, the platform made headlines when a single Ghanaian player won a record USD 500,000.

As the Aviator game continues to rise in popularity, betPawa’s latest win confirms its place as a dominant force in Africa’s gaming industry where small bets can lead to monumental wins, the company said.
